ABOUT ME

My name is Lilis Fauziyah but my friends called me Lilis. I am nineteen years old. I have one brother and he is my older brother. I live with my parents at Bawu Bantenan and I am a student in Jepara. Now I study at UNISNU Jepara. I am student in A.3 of English Education Department, and I study English everyday. I  have many lecturers but my favorite lecturer is Mr. Husni because he is kind, a good lecturer, and he is the one humorous. My class room is in a large building. It is tall. The important thing is my collage, it is near a traditional market.

I have many hobbies. They are watching movies, listening music, writing poems, drawing, and singing although I know that I do not have good voice. I am the one of Fumi or the other name of Valentino Rossi’s fans and I like watching race of Moto Gp very much.

MY FAMILY

            My family is lives at Bawu Bantenan and my family name is Asshobandy. I have one brother, and he is my older brother. We live in a small house but it is so comfortable for us. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a praying room. All of my rooms are not large. In front of my house, there is a small yard. There are beautiful flowers around the house. There is a small garage in back of my house. My house is near a mosque and I need a minute to arrive there.

            My father works in his factory and he is a carpenter. The factory is near from my house. My mother is a house wife. She cooks everyday. She is a good mother for my brother and me, and she is a good wife for my father. My brother is a student in Semarang. He is study at UIN Walisongo Semarang and he is a student in a last semester of Tafsir and Hadits study program. My family have a same of favorite channel’s TV. We love Moto GP channel very much although we have a different favorite rider of Moto Gp.

            I love my family so much. I see my parents and my older brother everyday and they are the best for me.

WRITE A LETTER

Dear Irong,

            It is 3:20 in the afternoon and I am sitting in my class. This is a nice day. It is raining and I like it. There are many students in the class today because this is time to learning English. All of my friends are busy to write a letter to their special someone.

            I am fine. I learn a lot of English in my classes. Now I can write a letter in English because my lecturer asks me to send a letter. Suddenly I think of you, so I have decided to send this letter to you. If my lecturer does not ask me, maybe I will not send this letter in english.

            Oh yeah, how are you? and how is Milly? If you know, I miss you very much. What about your Arabic final project? I am sure that you can be pass it because I did it.

            I hope that you are well and happy. Do not forget to say my hello to Milly, ok!.

NARRATIVE TEXT

SEE YOU AGAIN

Bass and Fay were in a forest. They wanted to save their buddy, Zee who was kidnapped by Juminten the sorceress. Juminten kinapped Zee because she had a holy Qur’an and Juminten wanted to shatter it. A week of their journey brought them to the darkness. They had to battle with Juminten who prepared two traps on the middle of their journey. For the first, Bass and Fay had to through the magic wall and they did it. Next was the final trap. They must fighted to Juminten.

            “Juminten, get out and give my buddy back for me!” Bass said.

            “Zee... Bass and me are here. Are you okay?” Fay said.

            “Fay... help me, please...”

Fay and Bass heared their buddy was crying. Zee was sicking and Juminten was hitting her.

            “Juminten! Do not hurt my buddy!” Bass looked angry.

After taht Bass and Fay went into the palace. While Bass fighting with juminten, Fay was trying to save Zee. Juminten was using her magic to defeat Bass, but Bass just used his rosery. Fay and Zee tried to help Bass. They read Yasin’s verse to help Bass.

            “Give it (Qur’an) to me.! I am going to shatter it”

Finally.. Bass, Fay and Zee were success to defeat Juminten., but Bass dead because he very tired. Juminten dead too. Fay and zee was crying.

            “I am sure you are in a good place, in the paradise. I hope we will see you again, aamiin...”

The last, Fay and Zee brought Bass went home.

EXPLANATION TEXT

THE VEIL

            The veil is the head cover that made of cloth. The veil was become the identity of Arabian. It had existed since long time ago, in Jahiliyah era. About who was the inventor of the veil, until now no one knows.

            The veil is Islam identity. It was wrote in the holy Qur’an by Allah SWT at surah Al Ahzab, Al A’raf and An Nur. Because of that the veil was invented thousands years ago in Arab. Allah said in the holy Qur’an that all of Muslimah must use the veil.

            The reason why Allah lets the people invented the veil and why he asks Muslimah to wear the veil are to protects them from danger, zinah or any sexual act out side of marriage. The other reasons are Muslimah can get peace heart, look more respectable, noble and beautiful.

            Till now so many women wear the veil begin by children, adult, and old women. Not only because Allah asks us but the veil makes the users look so beautiful. Because of that, now the veil more popular.

INDONESIA MUST BECOME ISLAMIC COUNTRY

I do not agree if Indonesia must become Islamic country. That provision will be rejected by many people especially non Islamic people. Not only me who do not agree with this provision, but my friends also with me although we are Muslims.

Why we disagree with this provision? The reason is Indonesia. Indonesia was colonized for many years by other countries. There were many people who were figting and they had been united to keep Indonesia. The important thing is independence. They freed our country. Who were they? They were not only Islamic people, but not Muslims too. They were our heroes. Because of that I do not agree if Indonesia must become Islamic country.

            Sport is the important thing that very useful for the people. The people can change and choose to healthy living or just for hobby. We know that there are many types of sport in this world and the one of them is about motor that have an institution that called Moto Gp.

            Moto Gp is a famous institution competition in this world. So many people love this competition, begin the old people till the children. Moto Gp is the premier motorcyle racing world campionship that is the oldest motorsport championship. Moto Gp has 18 circuits of 18 countries that begins in Qatar andends in valencia. Moto Gp also has three categories, they are Moto3 for 250cc class, Moto2 for 600cc and Moto Gp for 1000cc class.

KUNTHIL

            Kunthil is a girl who was born in Pati. She is the second child after her older btother. Kunthil has a beautiful face that people who see her will fall in love with her at the first sight.

            Kunthil was a popular student in my last school. Besides she has white skin, she has also long hair, brown eyes and beautiful eyebrows. She is tall and her body looks like a Spain guitar. Again, besides she has beautiful face, Kunthil is a smart girl and always got good scores. She likes reading book and novel and because of that she has to use glasses until now.

            Kunthil is a good friend. She is so diligent to worship and mutual help for her friends. She is kind and humorous. A weakness by her is she could not stop laughing every she listen something funny.

1.      When I forced my head to the right

In that moment I felt under light

Because I can saw you

Because I am with you

I was like met a clown at first sight

2.      Every Sunday I sing a song

Let my breath goes away and loud long

I cook a fried rice

In a wok that big size

I think I will put it on my tongue
